  6. Now grease the pudding basin with butter and spread the jam on the bottom of the basin. (if the jam is too thick heat it a bit to loosen it so that it spreads nice and even!).
  7. Pour the batter into the basin and double boil it for 1hr or till done. (do the skewer test to verify!). Or can use electric rice cooker if you have one - pour water in the main vessel and put the pudding basin and switch it on... :) easy!! ;).
  8. Once done de-mold and serve warm!! :) enjoy it on a cold evening!! :).
